C.U.R.E.S Container for Emmaus Health Center
Your generous donations to Timeless Bonds made this all possible!
The C.U.R.E.S. container has arrived at the Emmaus Health Center carrying various medical equipment. This container has been several months in the making and the arrival has been very anticipated by everyone at Timeless Bonds and The Third Order Regular Capuchin Nuns of Maua.

The sisters are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the container and are prepared to unload the shipment and begin the task of moving all the supplies into the heath center. C.U.R.E.S sent a team to Tanzania earlier this year and was met by Spanky and the sisters to bring them to the convent to settle in. Once they were settled, they went to the Emmaus Health Center to begin the task of seeing what was there and inventory the items that were needed.
Many items were needed and thus began the C.U.R.E.S team task of noting all of it down in order to get to work on it when they returned Stateside. They were able to be shows the entire facility during their visit along with experiencing the hospitality of the sisters within the convent. Their accommodations and meals were all provided by the TOR Cap Nuns and were given tours by them and Spanky. The farm lands as well as the location of the future safe house along with the expansions that Timeless Bonds hopes to get started on ground breaking soon for the Emmaus Health Center were explored by the team. The grounds and Massai lands were shown to the team and allowed them the opportunity to visit and speak with the local residents.

The TOR Cap Nuns explore some of the medical supplies that the C.U.R.E.S team was able to fill the container with. In America, we take such small medical supplies such as masks, bandages, gowns, and medicine as simple as Tylenol are very easy to come by yet are difficult and wanting in parts of Tanzania. Unfortunately, the Emmaus Health Center is not immune to these issues. The container arrived with much needed medical supplies and equipment in order to allow the center to be better equipped and increase by a small percentage the patients that they are able to serve.
Some room inside the container has finally been made to allow one of the sisters to move around and see the supplies. As a simple examination from supply cabinet is seen in the foreground to the right, the boxes loaded with small medical supplies is seen open as the sister is awash in emotion at the generosity and potential use.

Another view of the container as it is emptied into the medical center shows an examination bed and a few of the cabinets that may be used to store supplies or personal belongings at the medical center. A box is opened and a medical examination gown is seen being looked over by one of the sisters. Biological protection gowns are plentiful in many medical centers here in America, but are not commonly found in Africa. Their presence signifies the importance of personal protective equipment and the need for such PPE cross the globe.
An examination cabinet is seen inside the container. The supplies that will eventually be located within this cabinet will be located in an examination room to allow the staff to help the patient faster by having everything necessary for that room easily at hand. A small table and cabinet such as this is a part of any exam room here in America, but not all spaces in other parts of the world are able to accommodate items such as these and allow patients to be examined. Emmaus Health Center has the space in the rooms, now they will have the resources available to store necessary items in the room with the patient.

As the container is slowly emptied and the items are placed into their new home at the Emmaus Health Center, the sisters have stated that they are “overwhelmed” with the generosity of the C.U.R.E.S. container and that of those who donate items to the charity.
The help through your generous financial donations have allowed us to purchase this container and hire the charity that has filled it with the extremely necessary items for the health center. Your continued support will allow us to keep the center fully stocked for the patients that it currently treats and those that the heath center expansion project will allow the Emmaus Health Center to treat. Please consider making a monthly or yearly conation to allow Timeless Bonds to continue to provide these services and fund future expansion and healing projects.
